Class schedules are subject to change.
Registration and payment are required no less than seven (7) days prior to class start date. The cost of course materials is included in the course fee. There is a minimum of five (5) students per class. The Unit 1 class only needs a minimum of three (3) students.Classes, with less than five (5) students enrolled three (3) days prior to class start date, will be cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Unit 1. The Computer Mouse and Keyboard --- is for the beginner. Learn how to use the Mouse, write simple notes, fill out forms and play Solitaire.

Unit 2. The Internet --- is the world at your fingertips. Learn how to surf the Internet, do searches, send email, get map directions and much more.
10 hours. Fee: $40

Unit 3. Managing Computer Information --- fills in voids for self-taught computer users. The operative sentence for this unit is --- "information on a computer is stored on drives in the form of files which are organized with folders using a program called Windows Explorer". Each element of this sentence is studied in detail which leads to a better understanding of how a computer works, the role of zero's and one's (0,1), code tables, file types, file formats, file management and more.
11+ hours. Fee: $50

Class will be scheduled for Spring 2012.
Unit 3B. Applied File Management --- has all hands-on exercises, reinforcing the concepts learned in Unit 3. Create, save, edit, download, find, files etc--
3 hours. Fee: $20

Class will be scheduled for Spring 2012.
Unit 4. Word Processing --- covers Notepad, WordPad and MS Word. Aimed for the home user, it covers standard letter writing and the construction of announcements and newsletters.
11+ hours. Fee: $40

Class will be scheduled for Spring 2012.

Unit 5. Computer Graphics --- deals with the nature , production, editing, printing, storage and display of digital pictures.
10 hours. Fee: $50

Unit 6. Web Construction --- teaches you how to create a web site using the hypertext markup language (HTML). Appropriate for teens and up. Prerequisites: be able to create files & folders.

Unit 8. Web Design --- is individual instruction to produce web pages, similar to Comped's, using understandable HTML coding and various advanced techniques. Prerequisite: Web Construction Class

Unit 11. Selling on EBAY --- Hans, who has been activly selling on eBay for over 5 years, will show you how to participate as a seller in this global market place. If you decide to become a seller, you will receive step by step help to get you started.
